We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Associate to join our GST & Audit vertical. The role involves handling GST compliance, audits, assessments, and advisory work, along with assisting seniors in audits and client engagements. The position requires regular client interaction, coordination with tax authorities, and a strong understanding of indirect tax laws and audit procedures.

You Will:

• Assist in handling GST compliances, including return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C) and reconciliations.
• Support GST audits, assessments, notices, and departmental proceedings.
• Draft replies to GST notices, departmental communications, and audit queries.
• Assist in conducting statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits, including preparation of audit documentation and reports.
• Perform reconciliations between books of accounts, GST returns, and e-invoice/e-way bill data.
• Research GST law, notifications, circulars, and judicial precedents.
• Maintain proper documentation, working papers, and ensure timely compliance and filings.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to gather data and resolve queries.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• 1–2 years of experience in GST compliance, audit, or indirect tax advisory (preferably in a CA firm or tax advisory firm).
• Sound understanding of the GST law, rules, and procedures.
• Working knowledge of statutory audits and tax audits.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced professional environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team setting.
